Université de Bordeaux

Join us as an instructor

PhD candidates and post-doctoral fellows from the neuroscience field can apply now to become instructors in this summer school. The purpose of this workshop is to allow participants and instructors to share their passion for neuroscience, favour interdisciplinarity and encourage scientific discussions between students and researchers from different levels of expertise.

Organisation

Instructors will supervise a group of 2-3 students during 6 days, either in English or in French, to develop and implement a mini-project according to their specific technical skills. During this supervision period, instructors will be guided by experienced researchers and university professors, as well as by the Bordeaux School of Neuroscience and Bordeaux Neurocampus Graduate Programme teams. The objective is to introduce graduate and doctoral students from various backgrounds to the current practices in experimental neuroscience. The course is thus open to students specialised in biology, medicine, physics, engineering, mathematics, psychology, and other disciplines.

Expertise upon completion

As an instructor at the Bordeaux School of Neuroscience, you will receive a certificate attesting to your role and skills acquired throughout the programme:

› Coaching and supervision

› Pedagogical engineering

› Project management

Furthermore, instructors will have the opportunity to develop their soft skills, strengthen their international scientific network and, simply, enjoy science!
