As a result of the ongoing sanitary crisis with the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Bordeaux announces the postponement of the 2020 edition of the Bordeaux Summer Schools until 2021. The current situation means that the program cannot be organized while respecting the health and safety of its participants, nor can it propose a high-quality educational environment, as initially promised. Additionally, many of the Bordeaux Summer School speakers are now participating in research and innovation programs that have been launched to fight the pandemic as well as its socio-economic effects. Such programs will be a priority for the University of Bordeaux in the coming months.
For those who have already applied to a Bordeaux Summer School, please check your email inbox for more information.
Please note that our summer school websites will be updated as soon as possible with further details regarding this postponement.
We thank you for your understanding and hope to see you in Bordeaux in 2021.
This summer school offers participants the unique opportunity to discover neuroscience research with hands-on experiments and practical sessions.
Students from various disciplines with little to no experience in the field will be welcomed to the Bordeaux School of Neuroscience, a high-end facility fully dedicated to training.
Participants will take part in a series of mini-projects under the supervision of experienced doctoral students and international experts in neuroscience. These projects will benefit from the cutting-edge expertise of the Bordeaux Neurocampus research laboratories and the University of Bordeaux’s Bordeaux Neurocampus Graduate Program.
